What will you get with me as your coach
I think of how I coach as accompaniment. I absolutely love what I do and bring everything I’ve got to coaching. I follow an integral, dynamic, intuitive and client-centric approach. Whatever is important to you is important to me; your goals become my goals while we work together.
Inhabit your life, informed by wholeness and balance
Ideally, we will work on both axes of your life as you push outward and go deeper, becoming all you can be, in all aspects of your life…
Horizontal
This is about setting granular goals and chasing them down. I call this working on the horizontal axis: focusing on your individual status and significance, for example building a career, starting a family, contributing to society, formulating strategy, drafting action plans, concentrating on deliverables, collaborating with others.
Vertical
This is about exploring your meaning, purpose, legacy, knowing that life is a terminal condition. How do you want to connect to the mystery, the inner ground that gives you and your work its weight and meaning.
The poet Rilke draws attention to the “enmity between our daily life and the great work” and we will address this tension by focusing on both axes.
I am committed to my own individuation too; much of it happens alongside my clients. Doing my work equips me to show up to our sessions calm, present and focused on your goals.
My coaching approach
“Man’s worst sin is unconsciousness,” for in unconsciousness the human being fails in his or her spiritual duty of self-knowledge. We are summoned to realise the potential of our true selves.
In Jungian psychology, the process of individuation is the lifelong, demanding responsibility of becoming our most authentic self. It requires consciously integrating our disowned darkness, referred to as the Shadow, and moving beyond the expectations of society, to inhabit our lives fully and authentically.
Among my many coaching qualifications I am a certified Jungian coach. The field that most informs how I work is Jungian psychology. I believe the distinction between “work” and “life” is unnatural. My coaching focuses on your whole life, in all its dimensions (as defined by you), and on the relationship between consciousness and what lies beneath, that which we want to bring into consciousness slowly, purposefully, and deliberately.
My approach is bold, compassionate, and systemic, inviting you to step into your life fully. As a certified TRE® provider and an Advanced Breathwork Practitioner-in-training, I have a deep understanding of the nervous system and how to work with trauma, stress, burnout, shame, and neurodiversity.
I trust my intuition, and together with what you share in our intake session, I will, and do, suggest Jungian analysis if I believe it could support you alongside coaching. There are a few select Jungian analysts that I refer clients to, no strings attached.
A simple arc informing how we may work together
Facing the truth | This moment
Inspired by Sankofa, the Ghanaian mythical bird
We will take our time to consider where you find yourself presently, how you are living, working, and leading, before we articulate goals and move towards realising them. The present moment is suspended between the past and the future. What is no longer working? What is calling you? What may bring you more alive? What do you want to recollect from your past and bring along as we work together? What may you deliberately choose to leave behind?
Expand and Evolve | Moving towards wholeness and balance
How do you hold polarities in a world that is increasingly complex? Knowing your strengths, habits, and patterns, and deliberately developing the parts of yourself that are less familiar, without overusing your strengths, as overused strengths become weaknesses. Working with polarities is fundamental to wholeness and a dynamic state of balance.
The most important relationship is the one we have with ourselves. The more we feel like we belong here, the more we settle into our own skin, the more we can start looking and contributing beyond ourselves.
Re-enchantment | Working on both axes
How do you pay attention? What guides you as you move through life? How do you deal with conflict and disappointment? How do you remember what is important? How do you bow into the mystery of life? How do you reclaim a sense of wonder, considering how much we cannot understand or change? How will you measure your life at the end of your brief time here?
Seeing with new eyes | Going forth
Once you sense you have reached the goals you set at the outset of us working together, it is time to metabolise and apply your insights and to work on yourself, by yourself, for a while. And then you may want to engage a coach, or another type of development partner, again.
My commitment to you

Partnership, not prescription
My coaching style is rooted in partnership. You set the intentions for our conversations; I lead by following what is important to you in any given moment. I listen deeply, collaborate openly, and walk beside you as we explore the terrain within and around you. I am committed to supporting human beings to build, enhance and deepen relationships, starting with the most important one: the relationship you have with yourself.
Guiding you towards your fullest potential
Supporting and inviting you towards your fullest potential is my work. I believe in confronting obstacles head-on with intention, empowering you to enact meaningful change in your life and profession.
